“It’s almost not worth calling it a kitchen anymore—
it’s a living room that you can cook in.” - MELISSA

The kitchen is now the showpiece of the modern home.

The ultimate design statement of the home starts in the kitchen, with the trend leaning towards open-floor plans, the kitchen sets the stage for all the other design decisions in the home.

In today’s open-floor home design, the kitchen takes centre stage as the space where the family express their lifestyle.  Studies show that the kitchen is the most important selling point in home buyers.

CONTEMPORARY KITCHENS

BUILDING INSPIRING KITCHENS

We deliver contemporary kitchens which are modern in design. The characteristics of this kind of kitchen include a minimalist design and a lack of clutter. Materials are often stainless steel, laminate, melamine, frosted glass inserts, concrete, linoleum, chrome and Duco.

MODERN KITCHENS

TOMORROW'S KITCHENS TODAY

Modern kitchens are usually high gloss and minimalist in design and functionality. White or bright colours are usually indicative of this style of kitchen and top of the range

ultra-modern appliances are utilised.

COUNTRY KITCHENS

COMPLETE COUNTRY STYLE

Country kitchens are warm and welcoming, with light and traditional colours. Paint effects on the cupboard doors are effective in creating the desired theme. Woven baskets can also be utilised in this kind of kitchen as well as decorative shelving and moulding. French Country, English Country, Tuscan Country, Cottage, and Farmhouse are country styles which are popular amongst our clients.

CLASSIC KITCHENS

BUILDING CLASSIC KITCHENS

Classic kitchens are timeless yet fresh. They often feature neutral colour palettes and simple, unfussy details. Yes, a classic kitchen can be deemed too safe for the individualist but for us it is like jeans and a white T-shirt: Add a beaded necklace, a black blazer, and heels or tennis shoes and you can make the look your own! AND so can the next homeowner if you’re thinking about resale value.

Traditional or Classic kitchens usually present a more formal, elegant look characteristic of European homes of the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. These kitchens are more ornate and the cabinets usually of solid or semi-solid wood or melamine in cherry, walnut and mahogany. Antique fixtures and hardware can be utilised to great effect.

ISLAND KITCHENS

FOR THE CHEF IN YOU!

Island Kitchens add extra storage and seating as well as usable counterspace for the experienced cook. They not only add storage, but also contributes to the style of a kitchen. Islands can either be free-standing or attached on one side of a kitchen wall. They can be made from any material, ranging from wood to concrete.
